Darien Physical Therapy Center is looking to hire a Full Time/Part Time physical therapy aide for our family-oriented Darien location. The ideal candidate would be someone who is interested in entering the physical therapy profession and looking to gain some experience in an outpatient facility, but the applicant must be available year-round. Prior experience in healthcare and dealing with insurance company verifications is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean and safe facility including doing laundry.
- Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner both in person and on the phone.
- Cleaning treatment tables, equipment and surfaces as needed.
- Assist the front desk with answering phones, scheduling, taking payments, and verifying benefits.
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background in exercise physiology a plus
